I was in town visiting family and my Uncle recommended this place. I had the beef brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. The brisket was flavorful, juicy, and overall very tasty. I not really a fan of potato salad but I must say that it was one of the best l've tasted. My aunt had the chop chicken sandwich which was also pretty good as well. My overall experience was great. The servers and staff were very friendly and provided great service. I will definitely visit them again before I go back to Maryland. If you're in the Atlanta area, this is a place that you must definitely check out!

Great food, but the slowest service I've ever encountered. Took us an hour to get our food after we ordered. That was after waiting 20 minutes for our drinks.

If only the service were as good as the food. The ribs I had were tasty and very tender. However, on a Saturday afternoon, service was super, super slow. I suggest calling ahead for takeout.

Well after reading the reviews I can honestly say that I found valid points on the worst and best reviews. For starters the food was okay. It wasn't over whelmed but I wasn't disappointed either. I had better tasting bbq..I think my high expectations caused me to have a bit of a let down. I had the pulled pork sandwich and mac and cheese for lunch. The service was mediocre. I think it was largely in part because of the staffing numbers. Not enough workers and they weren't that busy for lunch. Probably won't be back. This visit satisfied my curiosity.

Okay so I talked about this place enough to the point that my Fiancé finally agreed to accompany me there. I had done a Google search for BBQ places in East Point and I guess Tony Morrow's popped up because it's in the neighboring city of College Park. I saw pictures of the establishment and took a virtual tour and fell in love. This place has what I like to call a "Boutique-ish" vibe. I love the decor, from the cowhide covered booths to the capiz shell chandeliers and concrete floors. I've been anxious to patronize this place since finding it online, seeing the pictures and reading the countless reviews. The reviews are definitely mixed. I learned from those reviews 2 important things; 1-to call ahead to inquire about availability of items and 2- that the place is not air conditioned. I called ahead to see if they had chicken and macaroni and cheese and was advised that they did so once my Hubby to be got home from work, we were off to what is now unequivocally my new favorite BBQ joint. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure what to expect because of the mixed reviews; I knew it could be "hit or miss". Because I don't eat a lot, I suggested that we share a chopped chicken plate and an order of the "bougie" fries, which after inquiring about them, found out are fries with truffle oil & shredded parmesan cheese on top. The plates come with an entree/meat & 2 (very) small sides (4 oz) so we decided to get double mac & cheese and ordered an extra side of collard greens. Unfortunately, they were out of collard greens. I guess I should've asked about the greens when I called to ask about the other items. I'll have to remember that for next time. We subbed the greens with baked beans. Multiple reviewers commented on the slow service. On this particular evening, it was ok; not really fast but not really slow either. Our server, Marvy, was a great server. Shortly after we were seated, in passing and on her way by our table she stopped to let us know she'd be right with us. She came back a short time later to take our orders. I inquired about a menu item and she was knowledgeable about the selection and recommended the item. She left and quickly returned with our drink orders. A short time after that she stopped by to give an update on our food orders and then a short time after that delivered our food. She asked if we needed anything else and came back to check on us periodically. One thing people need to realize is that servers in general are not responsible for the length of time in which it takes to get your food. They serve your food; they don't cook it. Unless they forget to put your order in, or don't bring it out to you shortly after its prepared, again its not their fault. Now, let's get down to "the good stuff"; the food! OH---MY---GOD!!!! The mac & cheese; DELICIOUS! I have always said its really hard to find good mac & cheese at restaurants. I think it has something to do with the fact that they're making such large amounts. A lot of restaurants do what tastes and looks like a simple box mac & cheese, which is usually obvious from seeing the macaroni noodles and cheese sauce. RARELY do I see the REAL stuff with eggs, milk, butter, etc in it. Well this is the real deal Baby! The chicken was great; not dry and seasoned just well enough to have a taste but not be overpowering, taking away from the sauce. The sauce??? Wow! The sauce was delicious! Sweet and tangy! I don't know if they sell it or not but if they don't, they need to. I'd buy it. The baked beans were okay; nothing special. I read one persons review and they commented on how they tasted like they were straight from a can. I could see that. If they mixed some of their bbq sauce in with the baked beans, they would taste that much better. The Bougie Fries were to die for. Next time I get them I may request a little extra cheese. Not to say they didn't have enough, i just LOVE cheese. My only complaint about this spot would be the temperature. Fortunately for me, because of the reviews, I was already up on that situation. In fact, with the rain that rolled in earlier today, it was significantly cooler than normal and that's the only reason I even suggested going today. I figured it would be bearable inside based on the somewhat cooler temperature outside. When Marvy asked how everything was as she came back with our change, I told how good we thought everything was and commented on the only negative thing being the temperature, she told us that the owner was working on getting that fixed. So, apparently they have a/c, its just not working currently. I will definitely re-visit whenever the urge for some good ole BBQ hits me, once we go into the fall season and its cooler, that way, it wont even matter about the air. In closing I'll just say Kudos to Tony Morrow and staff! See you soon The a/c situation was the only thing blocking a 5 star rating.

I was attending an all-day training in the Hotel Indigo College Park. During our lunch hour, because it was within walking distance of the hotel, I went to Tony Morrow's BBQ to get something to eat. I dined in the local BBQ spot and was glad I chose this place on Main Street. When I walked inside, a very friendly hostess greeted me and sat me down in one of the brown and white cowhide booths. I ordered ribs and collard greens (note: this was before I gave up meat), and it was very good. Plus, I had informed her that I needed to be back within an hour and she took care of me. I would recommend this place to anyone who may be staying or working out of the Hotel Indigo College Park. It's a good meal option in the immediate area.

Okay, Tony Morrow. I hope you are reading these reviews so you have a sense of the things that need to change. To begin, we have dined here (typing this review as we wait for service) 4 times- this marks the 5th visit. We are really trying to support this place- we love BBQ AND want to support our local businesses - your business. Here's the catch, you NEED to hire a front of the house manager and about two additional staff members to handle the evening time to go orders. You are killing your staff by making them do too many jobs. I can tell you spent a FORTUNE on the place- great look and finishes. But, the dumpster odor on the back patio is a major issue. It drives your customers away. The bathrooms aren't being addressed so they are untidy, out of soap and paper towels, etc. The flies are a big problem (perhaps because of the dumpster issue). The place is in need of a deep cleaning- floors are sticky and all the glass windows/ doors are a mess. The bar is taken over by to go orders and is likely hurting your booze sales. With a better to go process, you won't be pulling your floor staff off helping the dine in customers to take and pack orders. And, you need those bar stools freed up to handle the solo travelers- I've watched 6 solo travelers come in without finding a place to sit so they've moved onto the patio and b/c of the smell, have left altogether. As for the food...when things are available, they are generally sublime. We've had some hit/miss dishes but nothing downright "bad". Yes, your BBQ can be a little dry. But, the menu options and price points are strong. I bet with a really strong FotH manager, someone who can help you ensure you are meeting the needs of your discerning clientele (you're seated in the heart of Woodward Academy- an audience with discretionary income), and a good cleaning company, this place would likely stand the test of time! We'll be back and hopefully some of these things will be addressed. We WANT you to succeed!!!

Dead roaches on the floor. More flys than a horse barn. Smells that should not be associated with food. That's just what I noticed the first 5 minutes. We ordered pork sandwich, not too bad. The sandwiches were large and had a good flavor. Potato salad was not bad but as I dug deeper, it turned into soup. Baked beans had a decent flavor but seemed straight from a can. Brunswick stew was actually beef stew and lacked flavor. No brisket, fries or beef available. What restaurant runs out of fries? Service was friendly but slow. Do your self a favor and go to Fox Brothers

My last visit to Tony Morrow's gave me the sads. I've been here several times in the past few years and I've always had 3 and 4 star dining experiences. The place still has its casual-cool vibe and the service is friendly but what's happened to the food?!?! The chopped BBQ chicken was dry and the sides I ordered were disappointing too. The collard greens were tender but flavorless. The mac and cheese was too eggy--almost like eating scrambled eggs and elbows--and light on the cheese. It has changed. Case in point, check out Pete K.'s photo of the mac and cheese. It looks good--more appetizing than what I was served. Is there a different cook...a different recipe...what gives? On another note, this place is this close (fingers pinched together) to becoming the lady's house from the Febreze commercial. The one who has become noseblind to cat odors. The problem is not inside but outside on the patio. We asked to be seated out there since it the weather was nice. But as our server led us out the side door, an unpleasant odor hit us. It wasn't a random burst of scent wafting past; that's just how it smelled out on the patio. I have no idea what it was or where it came from but it made it impossible for us to enjoy our meal outside. We may have caught them on a bad day. I just know that the Tony Morrow's I've experienced in the past would run this joint out of College Park. I hope they can bring the old flame back.

I've been twice, once to carry out and another time to eat in. Well actually, three, the first time I went in, it was about 5 mins before closing and maybe 4 or 5 people were leaving the restaurant as I was walking in, the hostess, never greeted me, just stated they were closed. I said, your sign shows you are open for about 5 more minutes and I want to get food to go, she stated, were outta ribs. I left thinking, well damn, maybe I wanted the chicken. I have a PO Box at the Post Office that sits next door to this BBQ spot and some days I can smell the food before I even get out my car. So even after that first visit, I still decided to go back, because according to the Yelpers, this place has good lemon pepper ribs. The place sits in what is called downtown College Park and is right across the street from the College Park Marta station. The ribs are fall off the bone good, but I think the slab sizes are sorta small. The one time we carried out food, we got the collards and the mac and cheese. Neither were worth reviewing, but the lemon pepper ribs, I could eat those several times a year with a few slices of bread and I'd pretty much be content. The time we ate inside, as I was looking around, I realized this place hasn't been dusted in years, maybe they wipe down the tables and bar top, but otherwise, housekeeping is lacking in the areas where the customers are seated. Also, they had a few awards they had received stacked on top of one another and also collecting dust. You would think if the business owner wasn't going to hang these items, they'd get the off the floor next to the booth where customers have to sit. The location is sorta small, I think its like four or five booths and then a bar top where maybe 5 adults can sit comfortably. When ordering the food to go, I kept feeling like I was in the way of the people sitting at the bar. Not a place I'd think of immediately when thinking BBQ, but those lemon pepper ribs are worth another visit in the future.

Venue: Tony Morrow's BBQ Decor: Nice, decent Service: A little slow I believe Environment: Laid back, chill Food: BBQ !!!! Prices: Very Fair Debbie Downers: Defer to the service above Conclusion: If it wasn't for the slow service, This place would be a slam dunk...an A++ without a doubt. I don't know, perhaps I caught it on a bad day. I hope they aren't under staff like that all the time because I plan on going back and upgrading the review. Ok, now that the bad news is out of the way! Let's get down to business. The Food. Never had lemon peppered ribs before but yo! That *bleep* was off the chain. Meat fall right off the bone marrow! Nice tangy taste. Tender! Banging! Clutch. Wow, just wow!!! Heaven. Smoked poifect yo. Loved it, loved it! The sides was something to write home about too. Had to try the mac & cheese and 'tato salad. Yes I said 'tato!!!! Mac & Cheese - official. Not the best but definitely top 20 I ever had lol. Yes I had my fair of mac & cheese and to say top 20 is a huge compliment. Very good. The 'tato salad was phenomenal. I have no doubt that everything else is worth it. The other yelp reviewers deserve kudos. Because of their experience, I checked it out and glad I did. Will definitely be back. If you are a BBQ fan flying in/out of the airport or BBQ lover in ATL, definitely check it out.... Cosigned! Overall: B+

This place sits on a quiet street not far from the airport. Without Yelp, how would anyone even find this place? If you're waiting for your flight and want to squeeze in an awesome eat, then make your way to Tony Morrow's. Start with the Bougie fries. Sprinkled with truffle cheese, they call it Bougie for a reason. It's that good. Stick to the beef brisket. It's the most popular according to the waitress. The brisket was perfect - tender, moist and flavorful. Also choose the Brunswick Stew as one of your sides. It was super delicious packed with corn, carrots, beef, and beans cooked in a faintly sweetened stew. I'd skip over the heavily sweetened lemonade. Save room for the best treat here...the peach pie! Fried to perfection, the pie was stuffed with way too much deliciousness. It was best when paired with the vanilla ice cream. I should've ordered a second slice. Good food, friendly service and plenty of street parking make this place one of the best spots near the airport.

Happened upon this restaurant when we were actually going to another restaurant that turned out to be closed. What a delightful surprise! This place serves food and sells cigars. Friendly, casual atmosphere. Great service, excellent food. I ordered pulled pork with macaroni and cheese and cole slaw. The pulled pork was very nice with minimal fat. The macaroni wasn't that gooey stuff, it was really tasty. And, the cole slaw is finely minced and tastes delicious. My dining partner had lemon pepper ribs. Neither of us had ever tried anything like them. They were so tender and delicious. Our server, I think her name was Christina, was fantastic. She was friendly, engaging, and attentive. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Absolutely delicious.

I've been here twice now and I've yet to be disappointed. Each time I've had the lemon pepper ribs (which in my opinion don't taste lemon-peppery but are still delicious). The portion sizes are great for the meats (I've also seen the wings) and the sides portion sizes are standard in my opinion (not hefty but not small enough to make me angry). The food is delicious and the quick and friendly service adds to the appeal. There's a cigar lounge attached but it's closed off so if you're not into smoke like me that's a good thing. There's a small bar area but I'm not sure how stocked they are. 2 TVs are above the bar which is great for catching games. As I mentioned before the service is friendly but not overly in your face which I like. The times when I've gone there hasn't been too much of a crowd which is great for me because I get my food quicker ;-) Overall I give it 2 thumbs up and would suggest to anyone in the area looking for some yummy BBQ. The hubby and I ate for just under $30 without tip. This included 2 meals each with 3 huge tender rib bones, 2 sides, and cornbread. Oh and there lemonade is tasty if you like it sweet.

The amazing smell coming from the smoker allured us into the spot on Saturday afternoon. Looking forward to eating some good bbq and having good times with some friends. Unfortunately, this could have possibly been the worst dining experience ever...They were out of just about everything we ordered. The waitress came to our table on 4 separate occasion to change our orders because they kept 86ing items. No noodles for the mac n' cheese; No cole slaw; We out of smoked wings; Sorry, had to 86 potato salad. About this time, I'm finding this to be hilarious but not in a good way. The waitress was not the best but not the worst either. Tried being patient with her realizing that things were really out of her control. BUT she did absolutely nothing to compensate the paying patrons at the restaurant as they kept giving the food to all of the call in orders causing items to not be available. The manager finally agreed to take 10% off of the order but never came to the table to acknowledge my party. As we were leaving, a pickup truck pulled up and unloaded the "missing items". Unfortunately, after waiting 45 minutes to get our food, which was barely tolerable, we did not think it was worth going back in to wait for the smoked wings that we had heard about. * Originally ordered the fries topped with pulled pork add cole slaw * Waitress came back to tell me no cole slaw * Suggested that I try the lemon pepper ribs....I did with baked beans and fries * **bad idea (over cooked, dry and way too salty. I had to scrap the seasoning off with a fork) * My friends Cajun corn was over cooked and mushy * The cole slaw that appeared out of nowhere was bland cabbage with vinegar. * We could only get one order of smoked wings because they were OUT. The other person in our party was out of luck and ordered the pulled pork which was cold and lacked flavor. * The water was really good though. BTW: they charge a $1 for a refill.

I have been to this place a couple of times and it has been cool. The food is good, but the place is small. Also they need to do something about their bathrooms, and they need to cut their AC down a few degrees because it is a little too hot. All that being said the food is of good quality and I will be going back.

2 words: smoke. yummy. man, what an awesome find. had an overnight for a conference at the Renaissance and Yelped out a spot for some BBQ. came aross this TM's due to proximity and availability of alcohol (no joke, most BBQ spots around don't serve booze). after a preparty round at Renaissance, took Uber down here. no visible smoke when we walked in, but, you definitely smelled and felt it in there. down home smoke that just sticks to your clothes and ribs. i ordered a 2 meat, ribs and brisket with a Blithering Idiot. my buddy just got the ribs. beer was pretty good. went great with the meats. the brisket just melted when you tore into it with a fork. the table sauce complimented in magnificently. the ribs were fall off the bone but still had some bite to it. great sides i got with slaw and greens. service was great with a smile. restroom was clean, btw. location is great for staying by the airport, around 2 miles from the terminal. $7 with our Uber one way. i knew this was a great meal when i could feel the food sticking to my ribs and the smoke sticking to my clothes. MOST DEFINITELY keeping this on my bookmark.

Went to Tony Morrows BBQ this evening on the recommendation of a friend. First, they were out of pull pork, brisket, mac and cheese and several other items at 8:30 pm. That sets the tone. Reading some other reviews this does seem to happen here. OK it was restaurant week, but there should be better planning. Ordered chopped beef sandwich and lemon pepper ribs. The chopped beef was burnt and dry, barely edible. I should have sent it back. The lemon pepper ribs were only slightly better. Mostly dry. To be fair, the cole slaw and potato salad was good and the corn bread was very good. Portion sizes are pretty large. I suppose every restaurant has some days better better than others, but all in all a very disappointing meal.

This restaurant is within walking distance of the hotel we were staying at prior to our flight out of Atlanta. The gentleman at the front desk also suggested this restaurant informing myself and the fiancée about the amazing food they have. I was disappointed about the restaurant not having there liquor license but the food definitely made up for it. I had the pulled pork bbq sandwich with French fries and the lady had the two meat combination platter. The proportions were mind blowing for the price of each meal. We received more then enough food that we couldn't even begin to imagine finishing it. The pulled pork was sweet and the sauce was also on the sweet side. The service may be slow for some peoples taste but I enjoyed the friendly staff. If I needed anything all I had to do was ask and the waitress was more then happy to provide it as quickly as she could.

Lemon pepper wasn't lemon pepper. It was sweet lemon pepper wings. The atmosphere was nice and so was the young lady who took my order but I was definitely disappointed in the wings. I'm a sucker for 2nd chances...order the pulled barbecue sandwich another disappointment. Not sure if there's a 3rd time it just might be the charm but who knows. Will keep you posted if I do.

My hubby and I went here over the weekend because we try to give smaller local businesses our dollars when possible. We also love BBQ. I echo what others are saying regarding slow service. There was one server, one bus boy and one bartender. Granted, there was no crowd, but it felt like the staff could use some help. For example, there was scant staff to greet parties as they walked in; yet, folks couldn't seat themselves. We started with the bourgeois fries for our appetizer, which are billed as truffle parmesan fries. The biggest issue is that the fries were frozen and as a result didn't really take on any flavor. I don't see the point of the decadence of truffles wasted on thick frozen potatoes. We ordered combo plates as entrees. I had lemon pepper ribs and brisket; hubby had regular ribs and brisket. The ribs weren't the best cut but were tasty. The brisket was underseasoned, very tough and quite dry. We gathered that it may have been smoked too high and too fast. It didn't taste old. The macaroni and cheese was excellent as were the greens. I'm open to giving it another go; the mister is not.

This spot is aaiiiight. It is small and sells cigars as well as the food. When I went, the first thing I noticed was too many flies buzzing around (too many would be 1 fly buzzing around). Disturbing. I like how the booth seats' backing is covered in cow fur (I think. Do cows have fur? Whatever...some animal's soft and pretty fur covered the back of the booths). It was a nice touch. On to the food...it was pretty good. I tasted lemon pepper wings, lemon pepper ribs, mac and chz, and sweet potato fried pie. The lemon pepper wings and ribs were okay, but they tasted much better when the bbq sauce was added, The bbq sauce sits on all the tables. The mac and chz was very good. I can live without the sweet potato fried pie. It wasn't sweet enough for me. I will try the apple fried pie next time. I have to add that one of my table mates' chicken came out cold in the middle. Bad, bad, bad. She sent if back and it came back right the second time. I want them to get it right the first time. There is a bar area where you can chill and watch a game on the tv. It is a small bar though. Overall, I would say the food is okay and if someone invited me to go, I wouldn't refuse. However, this spot wouldn't pop into my mind first for bbq.

First time here and I did order but I have to admit, I am more than a little nervous. Knowing that this is Tony Morrow's restaurant, I am completely stunned by the condition of this restaurant. The patio is literally being used as a garbage can. Did Tony just build this place and abandon it? Food was so impressive as well. Very disappointed!!!

Got there and told wait would be 1/2 hour .,waited over an hour. Got to our table and told they were out of half of the food on the menu. Seems they could have told us this why we were waiting for over a hour .

So I'm writing this review based on my personal experience after someone had emailed me regarding the worst experience they ever had with this particular restaurant. I will send a review that they sent to me later on. So I ordered the pork fries because I heard they were the only thing on the menu that was decent and it was, except for this crappy mayonnaise sauce they put on there I don't know if this is his own invention invention or what but it is gross the fries are shoe strings so you end up eating more pork than fries it would really be nice if they had the steak fries. The service is pretty good it was interesting at some of the comments the waitresses were making me about the cook and about the owner. the smell will lure you in the service and the food will have you running out. I give this restaurant 2 stars and thumbs down they need to revamp, redecorate , redo the menu anf sit down and taste your own food or maybe welcome the community to taste your food because that crap on the port fries is a major NO NO!!

In Atlanta for a few days and decided to try this place out. Staff was upbeat , quick and effecient! The food is really good and I've tried BBQ all over from Kansas , to Arkansas, to the Smoke Joint in Brooklyn and this was some good BBQ. The homemade sweet tea was refreshing as well. I had the smoked chicken plate with Mac & cheese & collard greens! Also took a red velvet cupcake for the road! (Don't judge me) I like the decor (I'm a sucker for exposed brick walls lol) and the outdoor patio is cool (temperature wise) & is great for larger groups. There's a full bar in front which I took full advantage of and the last star if for the young lady who changed the channel to the World Cup for me :) Thanks Christina!

Pulled pork was steaming hot and perfectly prepared. Best rib rub I've ever tasted. Cole slaw and potato salad were extraordinary. From arrival at restaurant to food on table was a full hour - and worth every second! Bucket list BBQ!

Ate here last night. Great service and nice bar area. They gave great suggestions over the phone and were very courteous. Pulled pork and chopped chicken sandwiches were delicious! Homemade lemonade and sweet tea were as well. The coleslaw was mediocre but the macaroni and cheese was delicious! The cupcakes were pretty good - the sweet potato one was amazing (after taking off the cream cheese topping) and the chocolate was a German chocolate (I don't particularly like it). They also sell cigars which may irritate someone with asthma (such as myself) so we took our food to go. The price was decent, 2 meals, 2 sides, 2 drinks and 2 cupcakes for $33. I would recommend and visit again.

Our attempt to eat here did not go so well. First we waited at the front door at the hostess stand while employees came and went, and then when we finally were seated we sat at the table for over 15 minutes while servers came and went. Nobody came and got us drinks nobody took our order nobody even asked us anything. Watching the servers it was very clear to me that neither of them had any meaningful training; they were incompetent. Maybe they have some great BBQ but the service was so laughable we never got near it.

Tony Morrow's BBQ is in a small town called College Park. It's a nice quaint restaurant with nice décor. They have friendly service here. I ordered the 3 Pork Rib with 2 sides (I got double portion of collard greens). The ribs that came out are HUGE! I believe the BBQ is dry rub style but it was good and the meat was able to come off the bone pretty easily. The collard greens, unfortunately I have to admit was too salty. But trying my friends chopped pork over fries was pretty tasty. Combine the good ribs/meats with good décor and good service. You got a winning combo. I give it 3 1/2 stars but since we don't have that system...it will be 4 stars. YELP DO HALF STAR RATING!!!

What a find!!! Seriously the best BBQ & Brunswick stew I've ever had! The pulled pork is great, the lemon pepper ribs are ridiculous... Mac n cheese & collard greens So good. Such a friendly staff, cozy eclectic ambiance & good music. LoVe this place!!

Great atmosphere. Very friendly people. The bartender "Melissa" is fantastic. They even sell a small variety of Stix and have a smoking area. As for the food. The wings I had were a bit over cooked, which made them a little tough. The side dishes were fine. I'll go back to tackle the ribs.

Came here on a Saturday night after a fantastic week of vaca in Mexico. My lady had been here before so I was eager to get some local Q after a long day of travel. Walked in the front door and it was boiling hot and humid. That should've been a sign of even worse things to come. We actually had to sit outside where it was 10 degrees cooler. I didn't feel like waiting for our waitress to clean the filthy table so I borrowed some paper towels and did it myself. Our waitress arrived with her pierced tongue and booty pants and took our order. We ordered two cocktails but after 2 attempts in 20 minutes, I finally went to the bar myself and got our glass of wine and a beer. The silver tongued waitress never acknowledged or apologized for forgetting our drinks. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, the cook grabbed several pieces of wood for the grill and then proceeded to smoke us to the point of tears and coughing. We finally got our food after 45 minutes and it wasn't too bad actually. The funniest part of the night was when we got our check. The glass of wine we ordered got rang up as a $40 bottle of wine. The service was a joke, the smoke was stifling, and the total lack of customer service will make it hard for me to return. The food was a solid 3 but the service was -2.

What a perfect experience! Was in Atlanta on a trip for work and stumbled on this piece of AWESOME! 1.) Melissa behind the bar was one of the friendliest people Ive ever had serve me. She made me feel welcome, was quick with her service, and checked on me just often enough to keep me happy without being annoying. 2.) Their lemon pepper wings are hands down the best wings I have ever had. Such an original flavor combo and the wings tasted fresh and not just like another frozen place. 3.) For $1, the homemade cornbread is FANTASTIC. 4.) The lemon pepper ribs are the definition of fall off the bone good. 5.) Met the owner and was amazed that he would take the time to talk to me about his smoker and the types of wood he used for their flavors. Not typical and I loved having the chance to talk with someone else who loved food as much as me. If you dont try this place youre truly missing out! Everytime im back in town ill be back, wouldnt take my taste buds or money anywhere else!

We have seen this place and decided to try it for lunch. Lucked up on a parking space on the street 3 spaces from the door. Smells good from the street. Decor is nice/casual. And the R&B music is nice. Uh-ohhh:( Chicken not ready! What? That's what I wanted:( Server suggested smoked wings. So, 3 smoked wings, 3 pc pork rib, Brunswick stew, coke slaw all were real good. Baked beans ok and asked for corn bread that was good. Me and hubby will come again.

Their lemon pepper wings are AMAZING! My husband and I always go there on our way to the airport whenever we leave Atlanta. It has become our tradition.

I would have loved to give this place a good review as it was recommended to me. Unfortunately, my stop for lunch was very disappointing. They were out of pulled pork, ribs, brisket & wings. Ended up with an awful chopped chicken sandwich. Mushy soggy and no flavor. BBQ sauce that tasted like Hunts (not good). Soggy fries. Coleslaw that looked and tasted like it was store bought. If it was made in house, it was old. Sitting at ATL now with an upset stomach. Not good!!

I see all the good reviews about the food here, maybe I came on a bad day. My food wasn't even sup par. I ordered ribs, brisket, Mac n Cheese and collard greens.1st the meat was dry and tough. The Mac n Cheese was mushy. The collard greens was the only editable food on the plate. The service was slow, just wasn't the place for me. $18.79 was a waste should have just grabbed a burger somewhere.

Service is key, and this place has none. An hour is not long enough to give yourself for lunch if you plan on coming here. Plan on at least 90 minutes if you want to eat the food you ordered. Food wise - it's actually quite tasty. The portions are way to small for the price they charge and not really competitive with any of the other BBQ joints nearby. It is not so good that it's worth the premium price however. I might go back someday (if they are still around) because I did enjoy the meal, but based on the other reviews I can see my experience what not abnormal so I mostly avoid.

I was waiting to pick up my son from school so I decided to try some BBQ. I took my time reviewing the menu and order the brisket. I also did not see "burnt end" brisket so I asked about them. The server did not know what I was talking about Di she got the cook yo speak with me. After talking with him, I realized he was not sure what I was asking for either. I later found out the cook was not the main chef. Ok, let's get to the review. The brisket was juicy, light smoke and flavorful. I did the "pull test" and it past for tenderness. I tried the brisket w/o sauce and with sauce. It tasted better without sauce. Macaroni and cheese was ok ... Did not seem fresh for 2:00 pm in afternoon. The greens were good and flavorful.

We were set to visit another local restaurant. Fortunately for us, we had to park about 2 blocks away. Our walk put us right in front of Tony Morrow's BBQ. The smell was intoxicating as we walked by...so much so we decided to go in without knowing anything about the place. The food was as good as good as the smell and we carried that pleasant aroma with us the remainder of the night. Good wait staff. Nice atmosphere. Walk in cigar humidor. Convenient street side parking. Awesome place if you need a bite before getting to the airport.

The slowest service ever! The meats are good, but the restaurant has no air conditioning! It's a southern requirement to have AC!! I couldn't really enjoy my food because I was sweating (it was a 95 degree day). The servers are slow; had to ask for drink refills and silverware. I'm not a picky person, but being hot and uncomfortable is not my idea of a pleasant dining experience. We will not be back!

Better than some of the other reviews would suggest. I've been here several times now, and am a big fan of the ribs (beef or pork), which are fantastic, meaty yumminess. Pulled pork is good, if a bit bland. Fries are great, as is the Mac n cheese. Meh on the coleslaw, but otherwise haven't had a bad meal. Big portions, too. Really nice servers, too; professional and friendly. There's better BBQ in Atlanta, but there are so many bad Q joints... This is one of the better ones, and one of the best spots near the airport.

This is my first yelp - ever. I went to Tony Morrow's for bbq pork only to find that they only had chopped chicken bbq-wise- what is that!?! Because of the late hour I ordered the fried catfish - in my opinion it was marginal. The fish was sliced so thinly that I couldn't even taste that distinctive catfish flavor. The sides were good but very small portions in my opinion. I asked for the manager to express my dissatisfaction; her response was that she'd been hearing it all day and that all her other customers found other options...I felt like she was asking me in a round-about way what was wrong with me. BTW the server mentioned several other items that werenxt available. from the menu. In the end the manager didn't offer me anything for my trouble. I don't know when I've been so disappointed over a meal.

Had about 4 hours to kill before my flight, so I decided to swing by historic College Park and see what food I could find. I figured it couldn't be any worse than airport food. I'm a sucker for local BBQ joints, and finding one in Atlanta is usually a good thing. I ordered two meats: beef brisket and ribs....they were good, although not spectacular. My place only came with a few slices of brisket, so I was disappointed with that. The beans and corn were pretty standard. Service was pretty friendly, and the wait wasn't long. Overall not a bad place for BBQ, but I imagine there are plenty of better places in town.

This could be the best place in Atlanta with a few tweaks. BBQ, a patio, a bar and cigars in a very nicely laid out building. Seriously this concept is any mans dream. BBQ and Cigars! I was super excited to try it, the service was amazing, lay out incredible and then I had the food :-( I ordered a brisket sandwich and there was so much grissle and fat my jaws are still hurting from chewing and lunch was 5 hours ago. I'm not writing to dis the restaurant but to inform because I think they have a winning concept that will work. I will be back to give them another chance and I promise to write a better review if proven I just had a bad first time experience. I'm pulling for this place to win we need it in College Park.

Leaving College Park transit, my daughter and I were drawn to this place. The aroma in the air brought us out of the cold rain. We were greeted at the door and seated. The waitress was pleasant, attentive & knowledgeable. My daughter ordered the catfish nuggets special w/fries and potato salad on side. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich with the five.cheese mac and fried apple pie covered in brown sugar/cinnamon. I can't wait to revisit .

While in Atlanta, my +1 and his family came here and the food was delicious!! I got the smokey fall of the bone big rib platter, cheesy mac n cheese, spicy greens and creamy potato salad!! I also had the tainted lemonade which had me feeling quite alright!! The iced tea isn't free refills, but if you get the 1/2 and 1/2 (iced tea lemonade mix) then the refills are free!! We sat outside on the deck and the smell of the smoker was a tease while we waited!! (I didn't get any pics because there was a group of us and I didn't want to appear rude) Everyone enjoyed their food!! It was plentiful and reasonable...my +1 and his brother shared the family ribs and ordered sides a la carte. His mom shared the whole chicken with the kids and they did sides a la carte as well... they have sauces at the tables for your food, you must try the white bbq sauce!!

I have been waiting a while to write this review, and I wish it could be a better one. The location started off on a down point by misleading customers on when they would be open. They posted vague signs on the door for months, advising they would be open next Monday, closed for training, or whatever the particular was. Highly annoying and a sign of things to come. We stopped by on Saturday for a lunch, around noon. They were already out of a few items but nothing that we wanted so we were good to go. We split a combo plate, pulled pork, brisket, collard greens and baked beans. The food was brought out relatively quickly but they had replaced the collards with mac and cheese. After notifying them of the mistake they were going to leave us the mac and cheese and bring out some collards. The customer service here was good. Too bad the food was not. The barbecue sauce is a dead ringer for Sweet Baby Rays. I can't believe they are making this in house. In an interview with Atlanta Magazine Tony cites his parents restaurant in Decatur, AL as an inspiration. That area is famous for it's white sauce, which I guess may not play well here in Atlanta. I also have a hard time believing the baked beans and collards are made in house either. They were missing chunks of meat typically seen in BBQ sides, the collards were overly salty, and the beans could have easily been "onion" beans from a can. The pork was alright, the best part of the dish. The brisket suffered from being tough as it seems they cut it with the grain instead of against. This is OK in some instances but the meat was done "enough" to be cut as such. The brisket was also very salty. The combo plate was around $15, which with a proper tip brought the bill to around $20. This seems too expensive for what was offered. Considering the above there are much better places in the local area to spend your BBQ dollars. Too much style here and not enough substance.

Cute BBQ restaurant close to the airport. The servers were nice. Prices were not bad. The only problem is the food wasn't all that. I got brisket and lemon pepper ribs with collards and beans. The collards were really good. The beans were ok. Both sides were small. The meat was served on a slice of white bread. The sauce was in a small little cup and no bottles on the table. They sell you extra. The meat: Brisket- kind of rubbery, slightly bland. Could have used the extra sauce. Ribs- fatty and dry. Seemed a little over cooked. Tea- unsweetened kind of old. I expected more from this place. I wanted to like it because it is convenient, but it didn't stand up.

I will always stop here on my way to the airport if I am in ATL...the food is fantastic and the service phenominal. The first time I was there was a Sunday night for my birthday dinner with my parents from out of town. We were greeted immediately and had fantastic service and conversation with the waitresses. The food was also very very good. I returned about 6 months later waiting for a flight the next morning. The waitress asked me how my parents were as she remembered me, sat me immediately, and we chatted for a few minutes. The food was also fantastic once again. From the ribs and brisket to the sauce and sides...I've never once had anything here that wasn't full of flavor and enjoyable. BBQ is always in the eye of the beholder...as not everyone likes the same style and types of BBQ. I would recommend that anyone who is a fan of barbeque try it...I can't guarantee that you'll like it, but there's probably a pretty good chance you will.

Only reason I give one star is I can't give zero. Had lunch at this restaurant back in December 2014, they charged me double on my credit card. I spoke to a manager three times and still fighting to get reimbursed. They owe me over $50 and said most of their customers were double charged the same day I visited. Wonder if they have the same luck as me trying to get credit. Stay clear of this rip off establishment. I tried to call today and it goes right into voice message. Are they going out of business? Hope so.

Came here with my guy looking for a place to enjoy a good meal on a Sunday afternoon. We dined outside and there were no other customers there. I had the lemon pepper ribs and he had chopped chicken. I expected the lemon pepper ribs to be a dry rub but it seemed as if actual lemon pepper with butter that is used to flavor wings was poured over my ribs. Although unexpected, it was good. But lemon pepper is just good. we both had macaroni and cheese and collard greens as our sides. They could've taken a little salt from the collards and added them to the macaroni. Our server was an absolute doll. Very personable and kind. Relatively good experience

Order the pulled pork plate for takeout. Was ready as promised. The portion was HUGE!!! Very lean and tasty pork. They included extra barbecue sauce. Forgot to give me eating utensils, but I had some at the hotel. Corn was great and beans were awesome. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!!

Stopped by for lunch. The ambiance was nice and the place smelled great. The food was a complete let down. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. It is served with no sides, and the server did not recommend any. The bun was so soggy that I had to eat it with a fork and knife. The pork was not seasoned or smoky. The sauces on the table taste like they came from a bottle. I got several bites of gristle that I couldn't even chew. I definitely will not be back. The only reason that I gave 2 stars was for the ambiance.

The bottled beer was good. The beef rib (a rare find, ...so excited to see it on the menu) was cold. COLD. Nor as cold as the BBQ sauce, which was right out of the refrigerator. The Mac and cheese was crunchy, and not in a good way. Collards full of stems. Sides shamefully small. Cornbread burnt. Wait staff on their cell phones. Tony. Tony. TONY! Show UP. Pay attention. We won't be back.

I ate more when I was here than I did in the past week. The ribs, chicken, brisket, and pulled pork are all mouth watering delicious. The spicy BBQ sauce is off the chart delicious and the specialty drinks by Melissa are unbelievable. Be sure to come here hungry, you may not be hungry again for a few days.

Food is probably really good if it gets to you. Service is an absolute embarrassment. I was in a group of 15 that had called a week ahead. The restaurant that evening was not busy. I was the first to order the brisket. It literally took two hours for everyone to get their food. Remember, this is BBQ, cooked and ready to go. I was the last person waiting on my meal, everyone else at the table had finished. Our waitress asked after two hours what I had ordered, the response I got was "We out of brisket, you wont some thing else?" Would have been nice to know two hours ago. Also the cheese that they put on their fries is made from an instant powder. The really sad thing is that the company I work for "did" about $10k a year in catering and group dinning a year from this restaurant, not anymore.

Great smokey BBQ ribs and chicken. I visited this spot a in May 2013 after it being highly recommended by a friend of mine. We were greeted immediately by the bar tender who mouthed that that the host would be right out to seat us. We got a booth inside which was a bit smokey from the smoker I suppose. The waiteress was friendly and answered all our questions about the menu options. She put our orders in and then came back with our drink order. Let's fast forward 1 year later and.... Updated -03/19/14 I had to lower the star rating significantly after my last visit. We went on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was bustling with customers. I ordered the rib sandwich and my friend ordered the chicken. The ribs were on the large side and were tender. Unfortunately they were lacking in flavor and need to be drenched in BBQ sauce. When my friend got his food he had to point out to the waitress that it was supposed to be 2 pieces of chicken because what they got looked like a medium sized leg! The waitress was polite and said it is 2 pieces Sir. Upon closer inspection you could tell the leg was attached to a thigh but they were the smallest leg quarter we have both ever seen in our lives! For $9.50 the portions really should be larger. The owner offered to send out another piece of chicken, but together all 3 pieces didn't equal to 1 regular sized piece of chicken. With the quality of the food on a downward spiral and the portions on the kiddy side I don't think we will be returning to this establishment

I am back on my low carb kick, and ordered the chopped beef. The beef was on top of a nice thick slice of Texas toast and was lightly tossed into BBQ sauce. It had a nice flavor, and was peppery. As in lots of pepper. The slaw was basic and also had a great taste.... and was also peppery. The Brunswick stew is on the sweet side side and was also....peppery. Notice the trend?!? My order was to go, and when it got back to my office it was still steaming hot, so bonuses there!! There was enough slaw and meat for me to have for another meal. Plus they gave me two additional sides of BBQ sauce- for FREE!!! I know who, who gives anything for free these days... I'll be trying other items as I work close by and need low carb options that aren't fried.

I visited the venue during the first week of May on a Friday. The greeter/hostess started my visit off with a smile and down home "How you doin' tonight?" I sat at the bar and within seconds being greeted by the bartender Melissa. She asked me would I like a menu and if I had been there before. Her mixing skills and service was better than a bartender at a bigger, busier, long standing venue. The fries were delicious! The cocktails were on point! The flat screen Hi Def televisions were playing the NBA playoff games and were audible enough to keep the bar patrons into the action but not loud enough to disturb the dining room guests. The up selling techniques by the staff were a bit too obvious but not overly aggressive. Heck! The food is already moderately-to-expensively priced. Overall I'd go back just to have the same or even better experience and to sit on the patio then try a cigar in the humidor area. 3 Stars - I will be watching you "Tony Morrow's" so keep it right and add a bit of classic soul music in the background but not today's R&B/pop.

A nice BBQ restaurant next to the College Park Post Office - thought I'd go in for a quick lunch. WRONG! Nice folks work there, but HORRID customer service. It was 12 seconds from walking in until being seated at a table. Looking pretty good, right? No, after 18 minutes - watching waitresses walk by, seeing bartender look at me, seeing 2-3 other customers take out food, I called the waitress at the bar for help. The waitress that seated me apologized, took my drink and food order (after being there 18:53). Got the iced tea at 20:57, and a refill of tea at 28:12. Food arrived at 30:18, and the BBQ brisket was good, with good tasting sauce. I didn't care for the taste of the cole slaw, didn't seem fresh, but the Brunswick stew was good. I finished eating in 10 minutes - then waitress brought a "free" peach pie, for the slow service. after 46:49 in this restaurant I got the check. I would have rated the food 3.5 stars, and while Yelp doesn't allow a "0 stars" for service, I'm averaging food and service to a "1". I've eaten at hundreds of restaurants, and this is the slowest sit-down service i have EVER experienced. I doubt I'll be back, and would only recommend this place to call in a "to go" order. They seemed to be pretty quick on the go orders I watched people come and pick up. Who has 30 minutes to wait on inattentive staff before ordering? How long might I have sat without speaking up? No discount on the food order ? That's poor management to boot.

I stopped here for a late lunch last week with my 2 kids after driving by it for years. We were not greeted at the door, despite the place being pretty empty, so I started to sit down at the booth next to the door. When the waitress finally came over I asked for a highchair and she said "We don't have any". I said "Ok, we'll use a boaster". The waitress said "We don't have any". I looked around and said "Is this a FAMILY restaurant or a bar?" She said "It's a family restaurant". As I walked out the door I said "Without any high chairs it' a pretty shitty one" 1 STAR

I'm actually quite surprised by many of the reviews that I've seen here because both our service and food were GREAT at Tony Morrow's BBQ. I heard about the restaurant on another site and suggested to my boyfriend (who is a BBQ snob) that we try it out since it was local. After a failed attempt to visit another new local spot, we decided to swing by and check this place out. We were seated immediately and had drinks on our table within less than five minutes from walking in. The food came out pretty fast and was delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich with those awesome @$$ cheese fries and my BF had the rib and brisket combo with Mac n cheese and greens... No complaints about anything. I wasn't able to finish the sandwich after going in on the fries so I took it home to eat later. Even after being reheated, it was scrumptious. The owner was actually in the restaurant while we were there and we were sure to compliment him on his menu. The only thing I hated was the fact that the fried peach pie was still being prepared by the time we were ready to settle our bill, but maybe that was a good thing after the high caloric intake from those awesome @$$ cheese fries. We sat indoors but the patio area seemed very nice and should prove to be a great hangout spot during the summer months. All in all, Tony Morrow's provided us with a great dining experience. Because I've been craving those awesome @$$ cheese fries since we left, I will probably make another trip to the restaurant before the end of the week. :-)

Let me go on record saying I am a fan of all that is Tony Morrow's...he has once again hit the mark. If you want a great place on the southside to do some "good eating" this is the place! I have taken friends and business colleages there and everyone talks about the great food. I havent had anything that wasnt GREAT..Lemon pepper wings, Mac n Cheese...just to name a few. The staff is great and that just compliments the great food they will serve you. If you are lucky enough to be able to go there when the weather is good...no place better than that patio! If you havent been GO and if you have been no doubt, like the rest of us YOU WILL BE BACK! Congrats Tony and staff!!! Grant W

We could smell the smoke on the street and it was an accurate prediction of the great flavor. Had the 1/2 rack and pulled pork. Awesome. Surprised by large portions at such incredible prices. This place is a MUST!

This was very, very average. Seems like a poor attempt to serve upscale BBQ. Didn't work. Food served on weird tin trays. Took way too long to get food during a slow lunch service. ALL of my food was room temparature. Pulled pork (which is clearly baked in an oven, not smoked) was served on toast which immediately turned soggy. Bad idea. No sauce on the table. Positives: Collards were quite good...luke warm, but good.

I would say the biggest thing they have going for them is the food. Food is very good, portions are just the right size, meats are great and I really liked the Brunswick stew. Service was good, not amazing, but met my expectations. Only drawback is the smell...inside it smells like smoke from the BBQ and outside isn't bad, but you notice almost like a farm smell when you go outside, though it is faint. Fix the smells and this could be a great BBQ joint. If you give them a try, would recommend take-out, sitting outside or accept the fact that your clothes will smell for the day...

We ate on the patio because it was so nice out, well the smell from the trash overwhelmed us! The service was ok, it being early in the day and only 3 tables seated it shouldnt have been such a wait for condiments, drinks, etc. The food was bland, BBQ shouldn't have to have sauce to have taste!

We were walking by Tony Morrow's after having had dinner at another place up the road, and the smell coming out of this place was great. So, we decided to stop in and have a drink so we could soak up the aroma of BBQ. First, we didn't try the food so I can't comment on the taste, but we saw half-a-dozen plates go by. The brisket looked great. Me and my two coworkers all said "we should have eaten here!" The bartender, Terra, was a sweetheart...very nice and friendly. The waitress who first greeted us was also very nice to us and to her customers. Many people who came in were known by name to the waitstaff who greeted them like friends. Other folks came in just after the kitchen closed at 9:30p, and they reopened the kitchen and served them anyhow. So I didn't see any of the negatives on service I read about this morning before writing this review. I thought the service I saw was top notch. They have a full bar, and an eclectic assortment of beers. I had a Belgium Trappist beer which was excellent (and was Terra's recommendation). All in all, we had a great time here. Next time I am traveling back through Atlanta, I will definitely stop by and try the food,

After returning from vacation one week ago, I, along with my best friend began mulling over options for a casual couples dinner here in Chicago. Suddenly, I had dreamy flashbacks of my time at Tony Morrow's BBQ and those lemon pepper ribs! Lord have mercy on my soul those are delicious. I probably ate about 10% of my food because I was so happy with what I was experiencing that I had to cut away a small piece for each and every person at my table. Now THOSE are good ribs, friends. The sides were off the charts too - mac n cheese, greens, and potato salad is what I enjoyed. Not to mention, this restaurant offers nice cigars on the patio, if you choose.

So I was really looking forward to tying a new spot in downtown College Park. Sadly, I was very disappointed in the Ribs. They were salty and tough. I tried the mac and cheese which was decent. The layout of the place is nice. Cool place for cigar smokers. In general a decent place, I may give them one more shot

This is a great place for barbecue. We had the brisket, beans and Mac and cheese. The sauce was really good and the service was wonderful. We had some questions about the Atlanta area, so one of the waitresses got us a map booklet and patiently answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its great staff, great food and good atmosphere.

I ordered the chopped chicken plate with Mac n cheese and slaw. It was delicious. The bartender suggested the white sauce on the chicken and that was a good move. ***the phone number on this profile is off by one digit it should be 404 996 2973*****

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The second you walk in the door you get a good smoke flavor smell. The beef rib is big, juicy, and tender. It slid right off the bone and was so flavorful that I didn't even need to use the BBQ sauce that came with it. I got it with a side of awesome beans and some excellent Mac and cheese. Service was good, quick and friendly. The place has a nice BBQ vibe with plenty of good ole' Atlanta folk inside.

I took a party of 6 for a celebratory lunch. It started out bad when most of the things we ordered weren't available - no Brunswick stew, no racks of ribs (at a BBQ place??), no bougie fries, no desserts. It got worse when the wafts of road kill kept coming from the road to the patio. It was so bad we had to move inside, but they didn't have an indoor table large enough for our party so we had to sit at the bar. The food that was available to order was average at best. The whole chicken was still raw in parts. The only bright spots were the beef brisket and mac & cheese. Tony Morrow - I'd be embarrassed to attach my name to this experience.

I was just out and about one evening and decided to check this place out because I saw it featured in a few local mags. I'm alone and always sit at the bar, but I wanted to wash my hands first. 2 seconds after I walk out the bathroom a waitress says loudly for the whole dining room to hear "we don't have public restrooms so you are going to have to buy something". It was so rude and presumptuous I almost decided to leave anyway but I sat down for a glass of wine at the bar. It put a bad taste in my mouth and made me not want to spend any money or come back. I was actually looking for a cool BBQ place for me and my boyfriend to try later tonight but no go. It's a shame too because the decor is beautiful and it smelled so good inside, I really wanted to love this place

I love this place. The people are totally nice, the food is delicious, and it's a fun place to be. The last time I went, Tony himself came up and introduced himself, made sure everything was ok. Also, there was a woman all dressed up, looking cool, smoking a cigar-I love that! I will keep going here forever.

My husband and I went last month, The ribs were very chewy, and uncooked. I told the waitress. She told the cook. He told her to tell us the pink was the smoke ring. We know what a smoke ring looks like. This was just undercooked meat. She sent it back. The rib came back cooked. The meat had no taste like water. The cup cakes were $4.00 each! The greens were good. I will not return...What was very disappointing was that they were out of fried pies!!!!!

We were in a hurry but the staff worked very hard to get our food in time. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed kidding around with them. They kept our glasses full and it seemed like they were very hard workers who helped each other out whether it was their table or not. The food was delicious. The lemon pepper ribs were falling off the bone, very tender. Overall everything we had was great. I would stop here again if I am in the area.

I've gone to Atlanta's Tony Morrow's 3 times over the last 4 months. The wait staff have been courteous, but the management must have no clue as to how to make this place the top shelf establishment it has the potential to be. Each time, the wait has been long and painful. In addition, the cigar smoke is extremely offensive. Each time i've come out of their eatery, my wife has told me i stink like cigar smoke. Why should a customer have to go home and take a shower after picking up their food which was a take out order to begin with? Even though a lady came in with her two children, Tony must not cater to families as these children were pumped full of second hand cigar smoke. How can a restaurant run out of their specialty foods so early in the day? How can a small restaurant be short on kitchen help with 4 people in the kitchen? Tony Morrow must have a lot of money in reserve because he is surely losing LOTS of customers. I really wanted to support this business but Tony Morrow's bbq has disappointed everytime. And no, the food is NOT worth the wait!!!!!

Grant W

Waited 2 1/2 hours for my meal and it was wrong. Ended up eating Ian's good and his cornbread which turned out to be the last piece of cornbread in the house. Unreal!!

SInce Dec. or so, I've seen this restaurant open in the daytime. The days/hours aren't on the door. But, since my last 1-star review, the place is open.

Not good!!

If only the service were as good as the food. The ribs I had were tasty and very tender. However, on a Saturday afternoon, service was super, super slow. I suggest calling ahead for takeout.

Hope so.

Waited 2 1/2 hours for my meal and it was wrong. Ended up eating Ian's good and his cornbread which turned out to be the last piece of cornbread in the house. Unreal!!

SInce Dec. or so, I've seen this restaurant open in the daytime. The days/hours aren't on the door. But, since my last 1-star review, the place is open.

The red velvet cupcake was the best cupcake I have ever had. The BBQ was very good, overall very nice experience. I am from Michigan and would consider paying to have them ship me those amazing cupcakes.
